Start date is ASAP $20 per hour

Client: Male, 78 Years Old

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 11am-7pm

Requirements

• Client lives in a Brooklyn with a lot of stairs, caregiver must be able to navigate them
• Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, accompanying to appointments, and errands
• Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding • Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
• Observe and report all changes to RN/Family
• Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
• Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice
• Caregiver will need to read glucose monitor for client’s Diabetes – make sure it is above 100
• Basic ADLs as well
• Client is fairly independent, but caregiver will need to keep him busy – go to bookstore, a walk etc
• Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care:
• Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, accompanying to appointments, and errands
• Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
• Observe and report all changes to RN
• Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
• Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice

Skill & Experience

• You have at least 3 years of experience working as a Caregiver.
• Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care:

• Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding • Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
